The global sales trends of the recent years have indicated that the market is shifting towards SUVs. This trend is also true here in Kenya, with sales figures from last year showing impressive numbers on the SUV segment.
Here’s a short list of the best crossover SUVs for 2022:

Lexus NX
The Lexus NX marks the Luxury automaker’s entry into the already crowded compact crossover segment. It will be offered in naturally aspirated, turbocharged and hybrid drivetrain. Lexus will maintain its role as the luxury hybrid leader with six hybrid models including the NX 300h. The NX will be the fourth vehicle in Lexus’ luxury utility vehicle line-up and positioned below the popular RX.

Subaru Forester
The 2014 Forester debuts a bolder exterior design and roomier interior, along with improved performance and higher fuel economy across the line.
The five-passenger 2014 Subaru Forester is a total re-design of the acclaimed crossover SUV that’s built a strong reputation for safety, performance, dependability and versatility. With virtually the same footprint as the outgoing model, the 2014 Forester offers expanded room, comfort and utility. A new 250-horsepower 2.0-liter direct-injection turbocharged BOXER engine leads the line, which will also include models powered by a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter and a 2-liter naturally aspirated BOXER engine.

Nissan X-trail
Improved in every area, the new X-Trail retains its famed go-anywhere ability, and adds a host of features that redefine what customers can expect from a compact SUV. In true Nissan style, the new X-Trail introduces premium technology to a new area of the market, with numerous first-in-sector features such as Nissan Safety Shield and the new fully integrated, NissanConnect navigation and infotainment system.

Mitsubishi Outlander
Much more than a traditional mid-cycle design “refreshing” that consists of minor aesthetic updates, the new Mitsubishi Outlander has been redesigned and reengineered to stand out in the competitive small crossover segment with its powerful and dynamic appearance and refined driving experience. Combined with Mitsubishi’s reliability and safety standards, the new Outlander is a compelling value.
The new Mitsubishi Outlander features a bold new exterior design, an eloquent yet functional interior space, and over 100 engineering and design improvements to the platform for better structural rigidity, ride quality and reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH).
