The Toyota Crown, currently offered in Royal Saloon and Crown Athlete variants, has been in production by Toyota from 1955 and was sold exclusively for the Japanese market. It’s currently the longest running nameplate of any passenger car in production by Toyota.

This thirteenth generation Crown inherits a legacy of luxury thanks to decades of refinement synonymous with its predecessors. The S200 model Toyota Crown has been in production from 2008 to 2012.

The crown is set to rival Nissan Fuga, Mercedes Benz E class, Audi A6, BMW 5 series and the Jaguar XF. The crown has been tested to do 0-100 Km/h in under 6 seconds while the hybrid clocks under 5.4 seconds thanks to additional power from its hybrid motor.

The S200 is available in four trim levels, the comfortable Crown Royal Saloon, the aggressive and sporty Crown Athlete, the more stylish and luxurious Crown Majesta and the designated Crown hybrid riding on the Hybrid Synergy Drive powertrain.

The crown is the first vehicle to feature collision avoidance system. It’s the first Toyota vehicle to feature active noise control. The Crown is distinctly one of the first vehicles to have a Navigation system, Artificial intelligence and an Adaptive variable suspension system.

The crown is one of few Toyota models that feature their own badging. The G package Royal Saloon offers all trim options for the crown including both front and rear electric adjustable seats, lumbar support, voice recognition, cruise control, parking sensors, reverse camera, multi function steering wheel, dual climate control and second row AC. It also comes loaded with a standard 10 airbags option.

The crown Athlete series additionally offers a leather interior, heated and cooled front seats and a sunroof.
