2024 SUBARU XV UNVEILED

Subaru has unveiled the pricing details for the brand-new 2024 Subaru XV, featuring a revamped exterior and interior design, improved ride and handling, heightened safety measures, and updated multimedia technology. The third generation XV stands out as a highly capable compact SUV, offering an extensive array of standard and optional features at a competitive price point. This new generation improves on the successes of the previous generation to ensure its favorable standing in the highly competitive compact crossover SUV segment.

Equipped with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, X-MODE® with Hill Descent Control, and 17-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires, the compact SUV boasts an impressive 8.7-inch ground clearance across all models. This surpasses that of many SUVs, while maintaining a comfortably low step-in height for easy entry for both front and rear passengers.

The Base and Premium trims feature a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder direct-injection SUBARU BOXER® engine, delivering 152-hp and 145 lb.-ft. of torque. Stepping up, the Sport and Limited trims upgrade to a responsive 2.5-liter BOXER engine with 182 hp and 178 lb.-ft. of torque.

Across all trim levels, an updated Lineartronic CVT ensures smoother and quieter performance. The Premium, Sport, and Limited trims introduce a manual mode with steering wheel paddle shifters, allowing drivers to control the transmission through eight pre-set ratios. The SUV’s drivetrain is further bolstered with standard Active Torque Vectoring and the SI-Drive performance management system.

The 2024 XV includes the latest iteration of the award-winning EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology as a standard feature. Blind-spot detection with Lane Keep Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is available on Premium and higher trims. Models equipped with both EyeSight and Blind-Spot Detection now incorporate Automatic Emergency Steering, working in conjunction with these safety features to assist with steering control and collision avoidance at speeds below 50 mph.

The redesigned exterior exudes an adventurous spirit, characterized by a frameless hexagonal grille, compact headlights, a sculptural body, and a robust stance. Black wheel arch cladding and rocker panels provide a striking contrast to the body color. Inside the cabin, there’s an enhanced focus on occupant comfort and interaction with the vehicle. The front seat design is more supportive, aiming to increase overall comfort and reduce fatigue.

A noteworthy addition to the 2024 XV is the availability of the SUBARU STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system. This high-resolution touchscreen boasts wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with full-screen display. Functioning as a central information display, it integrates with combination meter functions and provides on-screen controls for audio, climate, and vehicle functions. Additional features include Bluetooth® hands-free phone and audio streaming connectivity, AM/FM stereo, rear vision camera, SiriusXM® All-Access Radio, SiriusXM Travel Link® (4-month free Platinum Plan), HD Radio®, and over-the-air updates.
