This compelling and versatile vehicle has been refined in every detail, enhancing its characterful exterior and hugely versatile interior to ensure the Discovery maintains its position as the most capable and family-friendly full-size SUV in the world.”

While retaining Discovery DNA design cues such as the clamshell bonnet, stepped roof, and prominent C-pillar, the new model undergoes a bold exterior evolution. Carefully considered design enhancements contribute to a more assertive road presence, with body-colored front fender vents accentuating the vehicle’s waistline.

Signature LED headlights distinguish the New Discovery, featuring a Daytime Running Light signature set lower into the lamps for a more purposeful appearance. The premium look is further enhanced by intricate detailing on the Matrix LED units, customizable for different driving scenarios. Animated sweeping indicators on the front and rear lamps add a touch of visual sophistication.

The redesigned front grille, reminiscent of the New Discovery Sport, creates a consistent and recognizable face for the Discovery family. With a more purposeful honeycomb design and finished in the Atlas color matching the Discovery script on the bonnet, the grille exudes a commanding presence. Revised front bumpers display a new, wider body-colored graphic, contributing to a more dynamic appearance.

At the rear, all Discovery models boast distinctive LED signature lamps joined by a Gloss Black panel across the vehicle’s back. This panel adheres to Land Rover’s reductive design philosophy, incorporating the Discovery script for a clean rear graphic. Complementing the new headlights, the LED taillights make the New Discovery instantly recognizable, while a redesigned lower bumper enhances the vehicle’s overall aesthetic.

Offering a range of six alloy wheel designs and four finishes, the New Discovery provides a total of 11-wheel options, ranging from 19 inches to the all-new 22-inch Technoviper option. A newly designed four-spoke steering wheel introduces a more open and elegant design, thanks to its more compact airbag. Polished metal-finish spokes lend the wheel a rugged architectural look that contrasts with premium touch-sensitive controls. These concealed-until-lit switches bring New Discovery’s extensive and intuitive infotainment functions to the driver’s fingertips. The redesigned center console accommodates the new 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment touchscreen, offering class-leading capability and ease of use. The updated heating and ventilation controls feature a sophisticated hidden-until-lit interface. These premium design elements offer unparalleled functionality and are flanked by vertical polished metal-finish stanchions running from the face-level vents at the top of the dashboard to the transmission tunnel.

The revised transmission tunnel houses the ergonomically enhanced tactile gear selector, the rotary controller for Terrain Response 2, and the infotainment volume control. Additionally, a deep storage compartment provides ample stowage for drinks bottles and features a sliding cover to keep valuables out of sight. At the base of the center console, a conveniently located wireless charging pad ensures smartphones stay topped up.

The second-row seats undergo careful redesign for enhanced comfort, with improved lateral support, longer thicker cushions, and thoughtful seat profiling contributing to improved under-thigh support and posture. Relocating the second-row air vents from the B-pillars to the center console further enhances comfort, allowing for a significant increase in airflow to second-row passengers. These passengers have their own hidden-until-lit ventilation controls and power supplies on the redesigned center console.

Land Rover’s designers focus on every seat, offering a range of new finishes that position New Discovery at the pinnacle of the large premium SUV sector. There are five different colorway finishes for the Grained and Windsor leather options.

For the first time on Discovery, customers can opt for sustainable non-leather upholstery. The new Luxtec material, made of lightweight recycled polyester microfiber, combines a soft, luxurious feel with durability and tear resistance to meet the demands of active family living.

All fabric-trimmed front-row seats now feature eight-way power adjustment, while the Grained and Windsor leather options offer 14, 18, and 20-way adjustments. Heated and cooled seats, along with massage functionality in the front row, ensure occupants remain comfortable regardless of external conditions.

The introduction of the new R-Dynamic model infuses New Discovery with a more assertive character and a purposeful stance, marked by a range of distinctive design elements. This variant boasts purposeful Gloss Black and Shadow Atlas exterior accents on the outside, coupled with two-tone leather and contrasting seat stitching on the inside.

Up front, the R-Dynamic model showcases a redesigned front bumper with a lower, wider emphasis, creating a more impactful visual impression. The addition of a broader body-colored graphic, along with Gloss Black detailing on the side vents, grille, and bonnet badges, contributes to a heightened sense of purpose and dynamism.

The rear of the New R-Dynamic models is distinguished by a body-colored insert positioned between the tailpipes, while the wheels display a Satin Dark Grey or diamond-cut and clearcoat finish for a touch of sportiness. The R-Dynamic variant also offers the option of a Narvik Black contrast roof, adding a further element of style.

Inside the cabin, the New Discovery R-Dynamic model features a distinctive and sporty duo-tone leather finish, incorporating Light Oyster center inserts and Ebony Black bolsters. This combination creates a purposeful and premium environment, emphasizing the dynamic and refined character of the R-Dynamic variant.
